Because there are over 50 authors from abroad could not participate the physicalmeeting, DEEP-2024 will offer session formats that foster and encourage discussionacross the meeting and will incorporate design principles and will offer session formats that foster and encourage discussion across the meeting including:

Brief video oral presentation uploading system are available for all presenters. We recommend that all speakers, especially to the Plenary speakers, invited topic session speakers and iPoster presenters.

Keynotes & Plenaries |
These featured sessions cover a diverse range of deep earth exploration worldwide and it’s science as well as application topics. World-renowned scientists and leaders will weave the theme "Wide Open Cooperation" into their remarks to convey how critical it to make Deep Earth Science accessible beyond the nation border.

We recommend the Plenary Session presenter using the 16:9 ratio for PPT/ Video MP4 presentation.

Oral Session |
These 100-minute scientific sessions will be allocated by the program committee after abstract submission. The sessions will be physical meeting and include talks and moderated Q&A discussions with in-person.

Usually the invited author for Plenary sessions and topic session will have 20 minutes for oral presentation which includes 1-2 minutes Q&A time. The others oral presentation duration is 15 minutes which includes 1-2 minutes Q&A time.

We recommend topic session presentel using the 4:3 ratio for PPT, and brief video mp4 presentation as
an overview on-line for the online oversea audience. The duration of mp4 should be
within 5 minutes, the mp4 file size should not be exceeding 200M.

Poster Session
|
Because DEEP-2024 has 50+ oversea authors could not participant DEEP-2024 physically, it will offer the Poster author 2 presenting ways as in-person and online poster presentation. Except plenary and Session 1, all approved scientific sessions will receive at the minimum a poster component. Sessions will be allocated by the program committee after abstract submission.

In-person poster presentation will take place in the poster hall in the DEEP-2024 Venue from Oct 23-24, 2024. The size of the poster board is 950 mm wide and 2,380 mm high. Recommended poster sizes vary based on the material used:

iPoster: a digital, and interactive poster will be generated on-line. Online iPoster will take place since Oct 18-Nov 3, 2024.
- Standard posters: Maximum width of 850mm and height of 1,200mm.

Banners/PVC/Polyethylene posters: Maximum width of 900 mm and height of 1,500 mm.

For poster presentations, authors are required to provide 2 poster presentation formats as physical and digital. Only the oversea authors who could not participant DEEP-2024 will just select iPoster(on-line).

All in-person and online poster presenters have the opportunity to create a digital poster- iPoster. DEEP-2024 will offer an online poster gallery and viewing areas throughout the poster hall in DEEP-2024 Venue.

There are 2 options in the iPoster generating templates for uploading the short film or short video report. The duration of mp4 should be within 5 minutes, the mp4 file size should not be exceeding 100M.

Town Hall Meeting

Proposed by the DEEP-2024 sponsors and organizers and open to all the inviting participants, these round table meetings, are best for:

Collecting feedback or raising awareness.

Government agencies, academic programs, special projects and other focused interest groups to deliver updates and gather input from the broader AGU community.

Presentation, roundtable or panel discussion formats.

Approved town halls will be:

Open to invited meeting attendees or for all.
-
Focused on topics that do not compete with, substitute or duplicate scientific or learning sessions.

Scheduled onsite. The theme about Sino-Mongolia Bilateral MoU, Sino-ICDP Bilateral or Multilateral Discussion and Earth CT Multilateral Awareness/MoU are during the preparation.
